We are getting ready to head out to the Paulsen family vacation tomorrow. I am in charge of bringing a birthday cake, and I just finished making it. I decided to let Martin lick off the spatula. (His first time ever.) He wasn't too sure about it at first, but it didn't take long for him to figure out the idea. In fact, he was pretty upset when I eventually took it away from him.

Why does he look so clean? When my kids lick off the beaters their faces and hands always manage to get covered. Have a great vacation!
You got me. He is so clean because I "prelicked" the spatula before giving it to him.
