Saturday was a very busy day for us. We started out at the Celiac Walk. We had a lot of fun. Dave's favorite part was the booth that was giving away steak samples. Martin did pretty well on the 3 mile walk. He was content to ride in the stroller for most of it, but there were a few times when he rode on my shoulders. At one point, Martin saw Dave giving Rylee a ride on his shoulders and he got a little jealous and started to cry. The second Rylee got down he was fine again though. After we finished the walk Martin got to eat his first Dilly Bar. He seemed to enjoy that quite a bit.
We may not have the best time, but we sure had fun!
After the sad realization that we didn't win anything in the raffle, it was time to head to the next event, Kristianna's birthday party. There Martin had fun playing with balloons and chasing after the remote control cars that were being driven through the living room. He also enjoyed some birthday cake and more ice cream. Then it was time for the final event, Morgan's birthday party. Martin got a well needed nap in the car ride to Mankato, so he was ready to go again when we got there. He did well until the present opening, when he decided that he had had enough of being around people for one day. After some 'alone time' he was able to come back and enjoy another first, a slushy made especially for him by his cousin Lauren. After he got over the initial shock of how cold it was, he seemed to like that as well. After such a long busy day, Martin was pretty tired, and when we got home, I was able to transfer him from the car seat to his crib with hardly a peep.

That kid is so cute. And so old. Stop feeding him so he stops growing please.
