On an earlier post about Martin eating the dirt from my plant, Kevin wrote a comment quoting a study that said that kids that are exposed to (i.e. eat) dirt are less likely to have allergies. I sure hope that the study is right because I think Martin is going to get his fair share of ingested dirt. Today after supper we were out in the yard doing some gardening. Dave dug up a tree that had died, and Martin was "helping" him put the dirt into the wheelbarrow...and into his mouth. I wish I could adequately describe how much dirt I pulled out of his mouth.
