Our Christmas get togethers are now officially over. On the 30th we held the Woller family Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Woller's new Mankato house. We were very blessed that all but one of us were able to be there. (Aunt Joy had to stay home with a very sick puppy...lesson to be learned here: don't let your dog eat chocolate.) Besides having our party in a new house, we also added another new element to the day, swimming. In the afternoon everyone headed to a nearby hotel to have some fun in their pool. Poor Martin is so skinny that he was shivering the entire time we were there. He wasn't too keen on going in the water until about 10 minutes before we were ready to leave. Libby on the other hand loved the water pretty much the entire time. She didn't even mind getting splashed by her cousins as they went swimming by. The big news of the day was that Amanda surprised Grandma and Grandpa by getting them a new puppy for Christmas. She is a 5 month old shih tzu that they named Ginger. Ginger and Grandpa hit it off instantly and are going to be the best of friends.
Martin was so excited that the biggest present was for him, a rocking horse from his Godparents. He was so excited to open it that he didn't want to waste time walking around the present to get the paper off the back, so he just reached over.
The rocking horse came packed in a lot of packaging peanuts, which didn't stay in the box too long.

The new puppy getting quite the welcome to her new home.
Today we held our third annual Wii-piphany bowling party. Uncle Shawn and Aunt Jes were able to make it this year, but even with the extra competition, Eric still ran away with the championship title. I do believe that everyone had a good time, and even Martin and Claire took a turn bowling.
