So Dave started a new job today, he is filling in for one of the Engineering professors at MSU. He got an email last Wednesday asking if he would like to teach some classes for a few weeks. It turned out that one of his former professors is having heart bypass surgery and they needed someone on short notice. So for at least the next 6 Mondays Dave will be teaching a 3 hour graduate course in the morning and a 3 hour undergraduate course in the afternoon. He managed to survive the morning class today, but didn't get a chance to teach the afternoon class since MSU cancelled classes due to the weather. He is still expected to keep up with his full workload at IBM, so things are going to be a little busy for him for awhile.

So he did make it home okay yesterday? We were thinking of him.
Wow! Sounds like a great opportunity! Maybe NOW Rachel will consider that he is working a full day!! :) Sounds like you've got farmer's hours coming up.
Mom - Yep, Dave even made it home in time for supper. He said the roads weren't even that bad.
