My little girl is gaining new words every day. It is so fun to hear her versions of words and what she chooses to say. I am happy to report that she does say "ma-ma" although she usually reserves that for a time when she needs me to do something for her. She also says "dad dad dad dad..." but hasn't said anything for Martin yet. Her favorite word lately is "hot". Any time anyone says the word hot, she hears the toaster, or she sees me cooking on the stove she repeats "hot" over and over. She also has quite the barnyard of animal sounds. She can say, "moo, quack, meow, woof, baa," and "neigh". Today she surprised me when she handed me her sippy cup and said, "All gone!" The other day when Dave was leaving for work she said something that sounded remarkably like "Have a good day!" Dave and I both heard it and she actually said it twice, but try as we might we couldn't get her to say it a third time. Even if it was just a fluke, it was still pretty remarkable, and Libby has a little genius cred around the house now.
