Martin's Work

Lately Martin has been making good use of his imagination. One of the games he is really into right now is going to work. It is really cute to see how he emulates his daddy as he prepares for work. He walks around the house picking up various items and putting them into his back pack; the whole while announcing repeatedly that he has to go to work. He also needs to carry his Curious George book set which I think looks like a little briefcase. He can't go anywhere without his Twins hat, so that is a must. Yesterday he even managed to get his dress shoes on to complete the look. I didn't get it in the picture, but today he carried a picnic basket for his lunch as well. Once he finally has everything together he will sometimes come over and give me a kiss goodbye and then head downstairs. He comes back after about a minute and then starts the whole game over, trying to stuff more and more things into his back pack until he can't zip it shut. I do kind of wonder what Martin thinks daddy does at work all day since the things he packs up for his work are all toys and books.
