It is hard to believe that Maddy has been around for one month already. On the other hand, it is hard to believe that it has only been one month. (It feels like FOREVER since I have had a full night’s sleep.) Things are starting to settle into a little bit of a routine. Maddy continues to be a good eater and napper during the day, has her crabby awake time in the late evening, and then wakes up once during the night to eat. The last few nights she has slept for stretches of 6 hours, so we are making progress there.
All that eating and sleeping is translating into lots of growth. We went to the doctor today and Maddy now weighs 11 lbs 14 oz (95th percentile) and is 23 inches long. (93rd percentile). That means she has gained just shy of 2 pounds and grown 1 1/2 inches in her first month.
