Reading With My Boy!

So Martin has been very interested in sounding out words lately. When I have been in Martin’s classroom on Thursdays helping out, I have seen the progress that he and the other Kindergarteners have made in sounding out three letter words. So tonight I dug out some of my copies of the books that I learned to read from, Read with Dick and Jane.  We sat down and Martin read his very first story! He did a great job and was so proud of himself.
