Camp Croix 2012

Last Sunday to Wednesday we spent at Camp Croix for our annual Woller vacation. I must admit that it was the most relaxing vacation I have had in years. Martin and Libby were so busy playing with their cousins, that they hardly needed any attention from me. Also, for the first time ever, we didn’t have any boat problems. Grandpa Paulsen’s boat got plenty of use for fishing, skiing and tubing. Two of my nieces, Kati and Anna, skied for the very first time. Martin really took a liking to fishing and had a decent amount of luck.

We also spent a lot of time playing at the beach, some time swimming, (the water was a little cold), did some canoeing, and had lots of fun joking around the camp fire. We even had some excitement when we saw some strange lights fly through the night sky. Martin and Libby are still talking about the fun they had, and are still using the new expression that Uncle Shawn unwittingly taught them. (“that’s bad news bears!”)
