It seems that the summer is going by as quickly as ever. I was worried that we would be bored, but we have found enough things to keep us busy. Martin is again in T-ball this year. This time, Dave is helping coach his team. Martin, the baseball obsessed child that he is, is, of course, enjoying it immensely.
Meanwhile, while Martin was having fun on the field, Libby found ways to keep herself busy too.
This week Martin also started swimming lessons. He again is surprising us with how well he is doing. He was nervous the first day, but jumped right in with the other kids and has been learning a lot and having a lot of fun. We were lucky that the level 1 lessons were the last of the morning at 11:00. Even so, he is so cold by the end of the lesson that he shivers uncontrollably until he gets home and cuddles under a blanket. Here are some pictures of him playing his favorite swimming lesson game, “chop chop”. The kids pretend to be trees and the teacher “chops” them down and they jump into the water.
