The kids have been out of school for a week now, but during their last week of school they had some fun activities. Martin had pet day where students were able to bring their pets in to show their classmates. We decided that Rusty wouldn’t be a good fit for a classroom of kids, so Martin brought his ant farm instead. They also had a day at the park where they did track and field events. On his last day of school they had an awards ceremony. Martin received an award for having the best handwriting, for memorizing all 26 of the Bible verses that they were assigned throughout the year, and he also got the attendance award for only missing one day of school all year.

On Libby’s last ECFE class for the year we went on a field trip to the Red Barn Learning Farm. She had a lot of fun at the farm, but the highlight of the trip for her was probably riding on the bus on the way there and back.
Libby discovered that the donkeys really liked eating dandelions.
