A First and a Last

Today we took Libby to both her first and last Twins' game in the Metrodome. Martin got to go to his second and last Twins game in the Dome. We had a great time and the Twins cooperated by coming through with an eighth inning rally to win the game. Both kids were well behaved and appeared to have a good time. Libby even took a nap during the first half of the game. She was awake for the Twins' comeback which was good because it was so loud that she never would have been able to sleep through it. Martin got to have some cotton candy. He didn't like the first bite, but it didn't take him long to realize how good it was. He reminded me of what a super sweet (no pun intended) boy he is because almost every bite that Dave gave him he split in "half" and gave some to me. Another highlight was the 7th inning stretch when Martin got to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" with 40,000+ other people. To top off the evening we came home and enjoyed a fireworks show for the Dodge Center Harvest Days celebration. What a great day!

Hey!! They are wearing the outfits that we got for them!!! Good thing you took them to the game so they could show off their good fashion sense!!

We were ALL jealous that you were at that game and we weren't that must have been one exciting 8th inning!! I know it was pretty noisy here.
